Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Teams of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.

The npower League 1 season is proving as competitive as ever and that is reflected in the latest Team of the Week following Saturday's matches, as no team is represented by more than two players.

But within that, there are four teams who each have two men in the latest line-up after what was a thrilling afternoon of action.

Goalkeeper Simon Moore is in after an excellent performance for Brentford in their 1-0 victory over Oldham Athletic, the sole Bee to make the cut.

The defence contains men from Sheffield United and Scunthorpe in the shape of Neill Collins and Tom Newey respectively.

The Blades' Collins scored his side's only goal as they picked up a solid 1-0 win away to Yeovil Town, while Scunthorpe's Newey stood out at the back as they beat Colchester United 1-0 at Glanford Park.

Also in the defence is Darren Ward of Swindon Town and Julian Kelly of Notts County, who were both outstanding in big wins for their sides.

Kelly's County cemented second spot with a 3-0 beating of Portsmouth at Meadow Lane, while Ward's Swindon went one better with a 4-0 success at home to Bournemouth.

County and Swindon are both represented in the top team's midfield too, in the shape of Alan Judge and Matt Ritchie respectively.

Judge has been in excellent form for the Magpies and registered a goal plus two assists in their win over Pompey, while Ritchie bagged a brace for the Robins against the Cherries.

A man each from Milton Keynes Dons and Walsall, who also provide the team's two strikers, completes the midfield.

In are the Saddlers' James Baxendale, scorer of his side's first goal in their 3-1 win at home to Preston North End, and his team-mate George Bowerman - who bagged Walsall's other two goals against the Lilywhites.

From the Dons is Luke Chadwick, whose goal was his side's fourth in the 4-1 win at Bury, while he also assisted Dean Bowditch at Gigg Lane - Bowditch's hat-trick also earning himself a place.
