Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Teams of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.
Debutant Jabo Ibehre was the cream of the crop for Colchester United as they collected their first three-point haul of the season with a 3-1 victory over Hartlepool United.
The striker only joined the U's on loan from Milton Keynes Dons last week but he made an instant impact in what was Joe Dunne's first match in charge, following the dismissal of John Ward, to get his name into the npower League 1 Team of the Week.
Gavin Massey was the other player to grab a goal for Dunne's team in the win and, unsurprisingly, he also makes the Team.
Alongside Ibehre is another debutant match-winning striker in Wes Thomas, who found the net for his new club Portsmouth on Saturday. The 25-year-old made the loan move to Fratton Park last week, from Bournemouth, and became an instant fans favourite with a last-gasp winner against Scunthorpe United, which lifted Pompey up to 17th.
Jeffrey Monakana takes the right-midfield slot after his impressive display in Preston North End's 3-2 success over Yeovil Town. The former Arsenal youngster scored in the 57th minute before setting up Chris Beardsley seven minutes later.
Stevenage's Greg Tansey and Swindon Town's Simon Ferry occupy the centre of the park. Tansey found the net from 25-yards for Gary Smith's Stevenage as they drew 2-2 with Bury, whilst Ferry scored the only goal of the game 10 minutes from time as Swindon beat Shrewsbury Town away from home.
Robins left-back Jay McEveley is also included for his performance in the away success.
The opposite side of the defence is occupied by Nathan Byrne of Crawley Town. The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur defender scored for the Red Devils as they picked up three points on the road at Carlisle United.
The spine of the defence is made up of two players from Coventry City with goalkeeper Joe Murphy and central defender Reece Brown included.
The Sky Blues kept their first clean sheet of the season against Oldham Athletic, which in turn brought their first victory, so it's no surprise to see them two players rewarded for their efforts.
Doncaster Rovers' Rob Jones completes the XI. The ex-Sheffield Wednesday defender was on form as the Rovers kept a clean sheet away from home - winning 2-0 against Leyton Orient.
