Coventry boss Mark Robins has urged his players to remain focused following their first win of the season last Saturday.
The Sky Blues and their new manager secured their first three points of the season thanks to Cody McDonald's solitary strike against Oldham, but Robins does not want his squad to get carried away.
"We have to have some patience and some common sense at the moment," he told the club's official website.
"A win doesn't change everything but it does give the side a little bit of confidence for the side to continue in the same vein.
"It will push them a bit further to work hard and to work hard for the supporters. Like I have said before, we want to keep that winning feeling and that will hopefully be the case.
"With hard work, that confidence will come over a period of time. I have only been there for a week so really the players and I still need to get to know each other."
