Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Teams of the Week features the eleven top performing players from each division from this weekend's matches.
Goalkeeper Chris Weale was Shrewsbury Town's star man as he pulled off a string of fine saves to keep Walsall at bay and earn the Shrews a valuable three points.
The former Leicester City stopper twice kept out Walsall's Jamie Paterson and Adam Chambers in the first half and then saved from George Bowerman in the second, to get his name into the npower League 1 Team of the Week.
In the middle of the back four, Doncaster Rovers' Rob Jones is paired with Colchester United's Tom Eastman. Jones scored late on for Doncaster as they drew 1-1 with Hartlepool United, while Eastman was pivotal as Colchester United inflicted a first defeat of the season on Stevenage.
Brentford's Shaleum Logan takes the right-back slot and Swindon Town's Jay McEveley is at left-back. Both impressed in draws for their respective teams. The Bees drew 1-1 away at Scunthorpe United, while the Robins came from two down to draw 2-2 with Coventry City.
Wide midfielder Nicky Adams was the hero for Crawley Town as he scored twice against his former club, Bury, to earn the Red Devils three points.
The 25-year-old opened the scoring in the 43rd minute before sealing the win with a last-gasp cross-come-shot which looped over Trevor Carson in the Shakers' goal.
Notts County's Neal Bishop and Tranmere Rovers' James Wallace were also on the scoresheet and they take up the central midfield positions in the Team.
Bishop notched the second of the Magpies' four goals away at Carlisle United, while Wallace scored the goal that sparked the Rovers' comeback, after being two down at home to Yeovil Town.
Oldham Athletic's Cristian Montano completes the four-man midfield. The tricky winger caused Sheffield United trouble throughout their 1-1 draw with the Latics.
Up top, two on-loan strikers are paired together. David McGoldrick, who is on loan at Coventry City from Nottingham Forest, was on form - scoring twice - as the Sky Blues drew 2-2 with Swindon.
The other is Wes Thomas, who is on loan at Portsmouth from League 1 rivals Bournemouth. The 25-year-old scored one of Pompey's two goals in their comfortable 2-0 win over Crewe Alexandra.
