Crewe youngster Ryan Colclough has agreed his first professional deal with the club.
The 17-year-old winger put pen to paper on three-year deal at Gresty Road.
Colclough worked his way into boss Steve Davis' squad after impressing during the early weeks of the season, but that progress was halted by a broken jaw suffered in his second senior appearance against MK Dons in September.
"It is really good news for the club and for Ryan himself," Davis told the club's official website. "It is something I wanted to do before he broke his jaw and it was even more of a reason to give him a lift.
"Ryan is a talented lad and we have to make sure we secure those sort of players.
"We don't want him to go anywhere else, he is at the right club and I am delighted he has signed. He couldn't wait to sign."
