Tranmere have signed Bolton forward Michael O'Halloran on a short-term loan deal.
The Scotland Under-21 international has signed until January.
Rovers boss Ronnie Moore said: "I'm really pleased to bring Michael in to the club.
"We're short on attacking options so Michael is a welcome addition to the squad. I've watched him a few times and he's got pace and he can score goals."
O'Halloran, 21, has made just two substitute appearances for the Trotters, and had a brief loan spell at Carlisle earlier this season.
The player made eight appearances for Sheffield United during a loan spell last campaign and came off the bench during the Blades' play-off final defeat to Huddersfield.
