Cash-strapped Portsmouth are to leave their training ground at the end of the month.

The club have been training at the Wellington Sports Ground in Eastleigh for the last 11 years, but now will stop using the facility and instead train at their Fratton Park ground for the time being.

A club statement read: "Portsmouth Football Club will stop using the training facilities at the Wellington Sports Ground in Eastleigh at the end of the month.

"Going forward, the club will use Fratton Park and will also look to use other facilities in the city."

Meanwhile, midfielder Scott Allan has gone back to West Brom after his Pompey loan spell came to an end.

The 21-year-old made his final appearance as a substitute in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Walsall.
