Oldham have extended goalkeeping coach Paul Gerrard's stay until the end of the season.

Gerrard survived a major cull of former boss Paul Dickov's backroom staff on New Year's Eve, but it was announced his own position would be placed under review.

Since Dickov's January departure, Gerrard has assisted caretaker manager Tony Philliskirk.

The former Everton goalkeeper's deal was due to expire in March but Latics chairman Simon Corney has asked him to remain with the managerless npower League One outfit for the forthcoming relegation battle.
