Crawley defender Shaun Cooper has extended his loan spell at Portsmouth until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old full-back, who began his career at Fratton Park, was part of the Pompey side which beat Coventry 2-0 at the weekend.

Cooper has made eight appearances for Portsmouth since moving back to the south coast in December and will now be available for their final six matches.

Meanwhile, experienced striker Richard Brodie has returned to Crawley after ending his loan spell with Blue Square Bet Premier club Grimsby by mutual agreement.
