Each week, the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from the weekend's matches.

Scott Flinders was the hero for Hartlepool United after he saved a second-half penalty against Tranmere Rovers to preserve a 1-0 lead and keep the Pools' slim survival hopes alive, and he's named in the npower League 1 Team of the Week.

The former Barnsley and Crystal Palace stopper denied Andy Robinson from the spot after Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro had been fouled and that kept the score at 1-0, giving Hartlepool all three points, as well as their first away clean sheet of the season.

Neil Austin scored the only goal of the game for John Hughes' team, and he takes his place at right-back.

Two other defenders in the XI had their names on the scoresheet at the weekend - Crawley Town's Connor Essam and Leyton Orient's Gary Sawyer.

Essam bagged the second of Crawley's goals in their 2-0 home win against Coventry City, while Sawyer scored the opener in Orient's 2-0 victory against Milton Keynes Dons.

Sheffield United's Neill Collins completes the back four, after he played a part in keeping a clean sheet against Swindon Town, in the Blades' 2-0 success.

Yeovil Town were also 2-0 victors and one of their goalscorers, Sam Foley, takes a wide midfield slot, as does Jeffrey Monakana, who scored for Preston North End in their 1-1 draw with Carlisle United.

The two central midfielders are Bournemouth's Eunan O'Kane and Notts County's Jeff Hughes.

O'Kane impressed for Bournemouth, who won 3-0 at Shrewsbury Town, while Hughes was on target for the Magpies in their 3-1 home victory against lowly Colchester United.

A team-mate of O'Kane, Brett Pitman, is up top in the Team of the Week, alongside Brentford's Bradley Wright-Phillips.

The pair struck twice for their respective teams, as both recorded three points. Pitman's came in the Cherries' aforementioned 3-0 success against Shrewsbury, and Wright-Phillips' came against Portsmouth, who Brentford beat 3-2.
