Stevenage's Canada international striker Marcus Haber is back from international duty and wants to leave the club.

The 24-year-old former West Brom and St Johnstone forward made 46 appearances last season before heading to the Gold Cup and upon his return he has asked for a move.

"He has been told that the club will listen to appropriate offers for his transfer," an official statement on the club's website said.

The statement also revealed that Lucas Akins is set to follow Haber out of the club.

It said: "Winger Lucas Akins, who scored 10 goals for Boro last season from wide right, has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the past few weeks and is expected to be moving for an undisclosed fee as manager Graham Westley looks to reshape the squad."
