The nominations for the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month award for October have been announced.

They are as follows:-

Kenny Jackett (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Jackett led his side through an unbeaten month, securing 10 points from four games, and encouraged attacking play on their travels, winning at Colchester United and Bradford City. He has made Wolverhampton Wanderers fans believe in their team once again, after successive relegations.

Steven Pressley (Coventry City)
The Scot guided his team through another stellar month, collecting 13 points from a possible 15, inflicting a first defeat on leaders Leyton Orient and drawing at Wolverhampton Wanderers to move his side relentlessly towards the Play-Off positions.

Russell Slade (Leyton Orient)
The question of how his side would react when they stopped winning every game was answered emphatically. Three wins and a draw from five games kept Leyton Orient top, underlining the deep-seated belief Slade has instilled.

Graham Westley (Stevenage)
Westley turned around Stevenage's poor start to the season with three wins in the month, recording their first home victories of the season against Brentford and Crawley Town and making them difficult opponents once again.

The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News.
