Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has been named the Sky Bet League 1 Manager of the Month for November.

Rosler's Bees went five games unbeaten in the month, including an emphatic 5-0 win against Crewe Alexandra, extending their run to eight without defeat in Sky Bet League 1.

Four clean sheets in five matches helped Rosler's side maintain their Play-Off push.

Former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, who chairs the Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel, said: "After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, Uwe Rosler's men are clearly mounting another challenge this campaign.

"It was an impressive month for Brentford - going unbeaten with some notable results."

Sky Sports' Football League pundit Don Goodman said: "A win and a draw against title contenders Peterborough and Wolves showed why Uwe Rosler's Brentford side are a force to be reckoned with this season.

"Eight games unbeaten, Uwe's team have a strong back four, an exciting attacking unit and the mental strength needed to win tough games."

Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins said: "Brentford have been in superb form during November.

"The Bees kept four clean sheets, which is an excellent basis on which to maintain a strong promotion push."
