Leyton Orient are sweating on an injury to top scorer David Mooney.

The Irish striker scored his 18th goal of the season in Saturday's 2-1 win over former club Colchester, b ut he had to go off midway through the second half after suffering a rib injury.

Boss Russell Slade will this week send Mooney for a scan to determine the extent of the damage and he could be a doubt for the forthcoming away games against Notts County and Port Vale.

"He took a bit of a knock in the ribs," said Slade.

"He's struggling a little bit. It's a little bit sore so we'll just have to see. He'll have to have a scan on it to see how he is."
