Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an immediate return to the Sky Bet Championship after a 2-0 victory at Crewe Alexandra.

Following Rotherham United's 0-0 draw against Bradford City on Friday night, Wolves needed three points at Crewe to guarantee a top-two spot, which they did with Kevin McDonald and Dave Edwards getting their goals.

Following that victory, Kenny Jackett's men are now six points above second-placed Brentford, ensuring they are in pole position to add the League 1 title to their trophy cabinet.
