Rochdale midfielder Matty Done has signed a new contract with the club.

Done, who was out of contract at Spotland this summer, has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal, effective from July 1.

The 25-year-old made 44 appearances in all competitions for Keith Hill's side last season, including 30 starts, as Dale won automatic promotion from Sky Bet League Two.

Done returned to the club last summer in a move which saw him saw him reunited with Hill, who he also played under at Barnsley.
