Dagenham & Redbridge players are getting kitted out as Father Christmas for a charity run.
The League 2 club is planning to stage the annual Santathon on December 7 when players, supporters and coaching staff will take part in a 5km charity run dressed as Santa.
The fund-raiser is to generate money for Leukaemia CARE, Europe's only blood cancer charity to have a 24-hour free phone CAREline, for people who affected by the disease.
It is the second time the club have held the event after linking up with Worcester City of the Conference South who helped organise the first Santathon in 2002.
Last year, the run raised £26,000. Organisers are hoping to eclipse that total this December.
A spokeswoman said: "This is our sixth year and it has proved extremely successful.
"The guys at Dagenham have helped us organise it and the players will get involved.
"It is a worthwhile cause because we provide for people whose lives have been affected by blood cancer. Not just patients, but also their friends and family.
"We are hoping the Santathon will can beat last year's total.
"You don't need to be super fit to enter the event and there are no age restrictions - as long as you are prepared to wear a Santa suit, you can join in the fun!"
Children and adults can take part for £5 and £10, and businesses are invited to challenge each other to a bit of friendly competition by entering teams.
Every entrant gets a free Santa suit.
