As they continue the battle to overcome the 30-point deduction they were handed at the start of the season, The Football League's basement club Luton Town face an immense task when they visit Coca-Cola League 2 leaders Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
But despite the odds being heavily stacked against the Hatters in a classic top v bottom clash, Luton born and bred Keith Keane - who has been with his home town club since he was a schoolboy - is relishing the prospect of tackling the Chairboys.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who made his senior debut at 16 and has played in all three Football League divisions for the Hatters, says: "We will be massive underdogs, but as far as I'm concerned that benefits us and puts the pressure on them.
"Wycombe have got a great record so far this season, but last week they lost for the first time in The League and we got a good win against Barnet and that's boosted our confidence. So we'll go out there, play our football and aim for three points."
Three points would be hugely welcomed by everyone at Kenilworth Road, though a surprise victory would still leave Luton with minus four points at the foot of the table and needing a lot of wins in the second half of the season to maintain Football League status.
Keane is absolutely determined, however, to fight all the way for the Hatters. "I've been a Luton fan since I was a kid," he says, "and although I'm still only 22 I've been through an awful lot with the club since I broke into the first team.
"I've got a League 1 winners medal and two relegations to my name, I've had one very good season in the Championship (Luton finished 10th in the 2005-06 campaign) and some real disappointments as we came down the divisions.
"Some of our best players were sold in the season we came down from the Championship and we've never really recovered. On top of that we've suffered with points deductions and fines, so there's been loads to contend with.
"But we're now getting back towards stability and we're not having a bad season if you discount the points deduction. We've got a tough battle to stay in the League, but I believe we can do it - and three points at Wycombe would certainly be a big help!"
