LAST GASP

Bradford City scored in injury time to keep alive their slim promotion hopes, after going a goal down to Torquay United.

Defender Chris Robertson opened the scoring for the Gulls on 15 minutes and it looked like it would be enough to take the points but Gareth Evans hit back with just eight minutes to go to level things before the striker, on at the break, completed the fight back with a 90th minute winner.

Northampton Town scored with two minutes to go to earn point at home to Burton Albion. Andy Holt's 88th minute strike cancelling out Shaun Harrad's opener. Both sides now sit five points off the Play-Off places.

BACK ON SONG

After three consecutive defeats Bournemouth got back on track with a 2-1 win over Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road.

Steve Fletcher scored his first goal in 19 matches, opening the scoring on 22 minutes. Anton Robinson doubled the Cherries lead on 63 but Crewe were back in it three minutes later, Luke Murphy with only his fifth senior goal. Bournemouth held on and further cemented their position in second place.

STILL WAITING

Grimsby Town should have been celebrating their first win under boss Neil Woods, but a penalty miss by Adam Proudlock on 86 minutes leaves them without a league victory since September 19th.

The Mariners were ahead at Aldershot with just six minutes gone, courtesy of an own goal from striker John Grant. The home side drew level on 68 minutes through Danny Hylton but Grimsby were handed a huge lifeline when Andy Sandell handled in the area. Proudlock, who has scored twice this season, stepped up but blazed his spot kick over the bar.

Cheltenham Town v Darlington, Lincoln City v Dagenham & Redbridge and Rotherham United v Macclesfield Town were all postponed due to frozen pitches.
