Aldershot Town Manager Dean Holdsworth has been named npower League 2 Manager of the Month for March.

Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: "Holdsworth has made a very bright start to his first managerial position in The Football League.

"Aldershot went through March unbeaten in npower League 2, which has left them in a comfortable mid-table position."

npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "Dean Holdsworth has demonstrated he's got what it takes to manage at this level.

"I'd like to congratulate Dean on behalf of npower, and wish him and the team the best of luck for the rest of the season."

In the Championship, Watford's Malky Mackay was named npower Manager of the Month.
