Dagenham & Redbridge defender Mark Arber is the npower League 2 Player of the Month for August.
Arber netted the only goal in a 1-0 win over Swindon Town and helped keep three clean sheets as The Daggers made an impressive start to their npower League 2 campaign.
Daggers manager John Still said: "Mark has been part of a defensive unit that has performed exceptionally over the course of the month. With the injury problems we've had here, Mark's experience and leadership has been invaluable."
Sky Sports' Football League expert Peter Beagrie sits on the npower Player of the Month judging panel.
He said: "Mark is an inspirational central defender who attacks the ball brilliantly at both ends of the pitch.
"He possesses real leadership qualities and has started the new campaign with a series of consistently excellent performances."
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "Mark has been a rock at the heart of Dagenham's defence this season.
"He has captained his side admirably and even chipped in with a vital penalty.
"I'd like to congratulate Mark on behalf of npower, and wish him the best of luck for the rest of the season."
