Crawley Town manager Steve Evans is the npower League 2 Manager of the Month for October.

Evans led the Reds to second in the table with five wins and a draw during an unbeaten month.

Former Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley chairs the npower Manager of the Month judging panel.

He said: "Crawley Town are certainly continuing the promotion form of last year in npower League 2 this campaign.

"October was another great month for Steve Evans' side as they took 16 points from a possible 18."

npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "Crawley continued their strong end to September with a superb run of results last month.

"Five wins, including a 5-2 away victory at AFC Wimbledon, have strengthened their push for a second consecutive promotion.

"I'd like to congratulate Steve and the team on behalf of npower, and wish them the best of luck for the rest of the season."

The judging panel comprises former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
