Aldershot Town striker Danny Hylton has been named npower League 2 Player of the Month for October.
Hylton netted six goals in five games to help The Shots push towards a League 2 Play-Off spot.
Aldershot boss Dean Holdsworth said: "Danny's eagerness to improve and his dedication to both the team and himself has been fantastic since the day I arrived as manager.
"He deserves the award and his commitment has ensured that practice makes perfect. Danny has a hunger to improve every day in training and this is testament to his hard work."
Sky Sports' Football League expert Peter Beagrie sits on the npower Player of the Month judging panel.
He said: "Hotshot Danny Hylton has achieved a magnificent return of six league goals.
"He continues to rise towards the top of the League 2 scoring charts, terrorising opposition defenders and goalkeepers in the process!"
npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins said: "Danny lit up League 2 with some sparkling performances during October.
"He showed great ability in front of goal, helping Dean Holdsworth's side stay within touching distance of the clubs currently occupying the Play-Off places.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports Football League expert Peter Beagrie, Football League Head of Communications John Nagle, BBC Sport's Mark Clemmit and npower Head of Sponsorship Emma Collins.
