Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio has received a one-match touchline ban from the Football Association, the club have confirmed.

Di Canio was charged with "improper conduct" by the governing body following his 90-yard dash across the Sixfields pitch to celebrate the Robins' last-minute winner in their 2-1 victory at Northampton on New Year's Eve.

The Italian accepted the charge at an FA disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

Di Canio will have to watch his side's npower League Two clash with Rotherham at the Don Valley Stadium this weekend from the stands and pay a £500 fine.
