Bury goalkeeper Cameron Belford has extended his emergency loan spell at League Two promotion chasers Southend.

Belford joined the Shrimpers at the end of March as cover for Glenn Morris and has kept two clean sheets in six appearances for the club.

The 23-year-old was initially signed for one month but his stay at Roots Hall has been extended until the end of the season.

Belford was a key part of Bury's promotion to League One last season, keeping an impressive 14 clean sheets in 39 league appearances.
