Bradford manager Phil Parkinson is still looking to add to his new-look squad despite already bringing in seven summer signings.

Defenders Andrew Davies, Rory McArdle, James Meredith and Stephen Darby, midfielder Gary Jones, plus wingers Will Atkinson and Garry Thompson have all joined the Bantams during the close season, but Parkinson has not finished his rebuilding programme yet.

"We still have work to do, certainly, and that will continue every day," he told the club's official website. "If you look at the nucleus of our squad at present however, it is looking pretty decent.

"It's not quite strong enough for the season just yet, but we have some good players in the building. We are in a good position overall.

"It's my job to make sure we keep building on the position we find ourselves in now, and we will do."
