Each week the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Teams of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from the weekend's matches.

Tom Pope was the cream of the crop in npower League 2 as he scored four goals for Port Vale against his old club Rotherham United.

The 27-year-old found the net twice in each half as the Valiants wrapped up a comfortable 6-2 success over the Millers, moving him to the top of the pile in the overall goal-scoring chart.

Ashley Vincent is the other Port Vale player in the XI. He scored the fourth goal of the afternoon for Micky Adams' side, in the 28th minute.

Pope is paired with Fleetwood Town's Jon Parkin up top. The much-travelled striker was in fine form, netting a hat-trick, as the Cod Army beat Lancashire rivals Morecambe 4-0. Dean Howell also impressed for Fleetwood in the rout and he takes the left-back slot.

Exeter City's Scot Bennett and Cheltenham Town's Marlon Pack occupy the middle of the park.

Bennett notched a goal for the Grecians as they picked up an impressive three points against Oxford United, winning 4-2 at the Kassam Stadium.

Pack, meanwhile, was influential as the Robins secured a point against Wycombe Wanderers. The midfielder played a big role in the equalising goal as Stuart Lewis brought him down in the box - which resulted in Shaun Harrad scoring from the spot.

Northampton Town's Chris Hackett was on-song as the Cobblers beat AFC Wimbledon 2-0 and he completes the midfield four. The former Millwall man finished the scoring at Sixfields by scoring a fine solo effort, running from the halfway line before slotting passed the on-rushing Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz.

Cobblers defender David Artell also makes the Team for his performance in the comfortable win.

Southend United duo Sean Clohessy and Ryan Cresswell are included in the back four for their respective performances in the Shrimpers' 3-1 success over Dagenham and Redbridge. Clohessy remained solid throughout, while Cresswell completed the scoring by volleying home in the 70th minute.

Taking the place between the sticks, and completing the npower League 2 Team of the Week, is Aldershot's Jamie Young. The 27-year-old made a string of fine saves to secure a valuable point for Dean Holdsworth's Aldershot, against Bristol Rovers.
