Goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson and striker Matt Paterson are in talks about extending their contracts at Burton.

Both players are currently on short-term deals which run until January but they have already done enough to convince Albion manager Gary Rowett that they deserve to remain at the npower League Two club.

"Stuart and Matt have both done extremely well with us and I've already sat down with them to talk about extending their deals," Rowett told the Burton Mail.

"The talks with both players are on-going the moment, but they have both indicated that they would be happy to stay for longer."
