The nominations for the npower League 2 Manager of the Month award for December have been announced.
They are as follows:-
Gareth Ainsworth (Wycombe Wanderers)
With just one defeat in five games, Gareth Ainsworth delivered some festive cheer to the Chairboys' faithful in December. Starting the month in 21st and one point from safety, 10 points from a possible 15 ensured Ainsworth's men finished 2012 in 17th position and 10 points clear of the drop zone.
Gary Rowett (Burton Albion)
Another manager who guided his team through the hectic Christmas period with just a solitary defeat was Brewers manager Gary Rowett. With 10 points from a possible 15, Burton Albion finished the year in the Play-Off positions and will be looking to cement that place in 2013.
Chris Wilder (Oxford United)
A combination of a demanding cup schedule and adverse weather conditions meant that the U's only managed four league fixtures in December. However, the fixture congestion did not have a negative effect on their form as Chris Wilder's men remained unbeaten for the month. Two draws were followed by two emphatic away wins at Exeter City and AFC Wimbledon, extending United's unbeaten run to nine games.
The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News, from 10am.
