Each week, the Official Football League website will bring you the Team of the Week. Produced by the Press Association, the Team's of the Week feature the eleven top performing players from each division from the weekend's matches.

Danny Kedwell scored the all-important goal for Gillingham in their 1-0 victory against Torquay United which secured promotion to npower League 1 on Saturday, and he's named up front in the division's Team of the Week.

The 29-year-old netted the only goal of the game against the Gulls in the 48th minute and, with other results going their way, it meant Martin Allen's men were the first team to win promotion in The Football League this season.

Kedwell's team-mate Chris Whelpdale is also included for his performance in the significant victory.

Rochdale are another team to have two players in the squad after they brushed aside the challenge of Fleetwood Town by winning 3-0 at Highbury. Jason Kennedy is in the middle of the park as he netted the third goal in the trouncing, while goalkeeper Josh Lillis is named in the team after he saved an Andy Mangan penalty.

Chesterfield, meanwhile, were 2-0 winners at Barnet, and they have the goalscorer of their second goal, Sam Togwell, in the centre of midfield alongside Kennedy.

Wycombe Wanderers' Joel Grant completes the midfield four. The 25-year-old former Crewe Alexandra winger scored the only goal of the game in the Chairboys' away triumph against Oxford United.

Partnering Gillingham's Kedwell up front is Port Vale's experienced striker Lee Hughes, who was on fire for the Valiants on Friday night, netting a hat-trick in their 7-1 thumping of fellow promotion challengers Burton Albion.

At centre-back, Bradford City's Andrew Davies is partnered by Dagenham and Redbridge's Scott Doe. The two players were involved in games that ended 1-0, and they were both vital in keeping clean sheets for their respective sides.

Davies muted the threat of Northampton Town, enabling the Bantams to beat the promotion-chasing Cobblers at home, and Doe helped keep seventh-placed Exeter City at bay as they Daggers secured a much-needed three points on the road.

Bristol Rovers and Plymouth Argyle also kept clean sheets and they have a player each in the remaining defensive positions.

Onismor Bhasera is the Pilgrims' representative, following his performance in their 2-0 win against Cheltenham Town, while Michael Smith is the Pirates player in the team. The 24-year-old impressed for Rovers in their 1-0 home victory against lowly AFC Wimbledon.
