Bristol Rovers winger Joe Anyinsah will leave the Memorial Stadium this summer after being told he will be released when his contract expires.

The 28-year-old was missing from the squad that drew 3-3 with Torquay on Saturday and manager John Ward revealed the former Charlton man's future lies elsewhere.

"Joe is not being offered a new deal," he told the club's official website. "But we all wish him every success for the future."

The Bristol-born attacker has made 30 npower League Two appearances this season, scoring four times, and leaves having played 64 times for Rovers.
