The nominations for the Sky Bet League 2 Manager of the Month award for August have been announced.

They are as follows:-

Neal Ardley (AFC Wimbledon)
Having avoided relegation on the final day of last season, Ardley ensured a fast start this time around. Wimbledon's 10 points from five matches included a 100 per cent record at home with wins over Wycombe Wanderers, Scunthorpe United and Fleetwood Town.

Paul Cook (Chesterfield)
Cook's confident, assured side scored exactly two goals in each of their five games during the month - enough for four wins and a draw - with significant victories coming over potential promotion rivals Southend United and Portsmouth to lead League 2.

Gary Rowett (Burton Albion)
Dispelled the Play-Off semi-final defeat hangover in spite of the summer loss of key players. As impressive as his side's three wins were, the 2-2 draws they secured against Cheltenham Town and Bury after trailing 2-0 in both could turn out to be vital.

Chris Wilder (Oxford United)
Wilder's Oxford began the season in sparkling form with a 4-1 opening day win at Portsmouth to herald an unbeaten month. With 12 goals in five matches spread among six players, he has moulded a free-flowing and fluent side.

The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News.
