Newport County have received a bid from Peterborough United for striker Conor Washington.
The 21-year-old, who has been a huge hit at Rodney Parade since arriving from Cornish non-league outfit St Ives, has scored seven goals for the Exiles this season in his first campaign in the Football League.
And he has caught the eye of Posh who have submitted a bid for the forward.
"We have received an offer, Conor knows about it, we've spoken, it's a good offer, but it's far from a done deal yet," boss Justin Edinburgh told the South Wales Argus.
"I've got to do what is right for the boy and the football club."
