The top three in Sky Bet League 2 remain unchanged after leading pair Chesterfield and Scunthorpe United drew 1-1 on Saturday and Oxford United did likewise against Bristol Rovers.

The prolific Sam Winnall gave Scunthorpe a 15th-minute lead at Glanford Park but Eoin Doyle's penalty in first-half stoppage time earned the Spireites a point which keeps them three points ahead of their opponents at the summit.

Third-placed Oxford looked set to take advantage after James Constable's 10th-minute strike but they were pegged back by Rovers' John-Joe O'Toole in the 84th minute.

Rochdale and Burton Albion closed the gap behind the top three with away wins.

Fourth-placed Dale, and their striker Scott Hogan, were the division's big winners as his hat-trick earned them a 3-0 success away to AFC Wimbledon.

One goal was enough for fifth-placed Burton, substitute Zeli Ismail condemning Morecambe to defeat.

Southend United, occupying seventh place, had substitute Conor Clifford sent off as they were beaten 2-1 away to Mansfield Town. Sam Clucas and James Jennings gave the Stags the points while Southend's goal came after they were down to 10 men, Ryan Leonard dismissed in the last minute.

At the foot of the table rock-bottom Northampton Town were beaten 2-0 at home by Plymouth Argyle with the goals coming from Reuben Reid and Lewis Alessandra before half-time.

Torquay United, who occupy the other relegation place, saw their home game against fellow strugglers Bury postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Wycombe Wanderers, one place above the Gulls, drew 0-0 with Accrington Stanley while 19th-placed Portsmouth conceded a last-minute equaliser to Exeter City, Liam Sercombe cancelling out Jake Jervis' ninth-minute opener.

Luke Williams and Andy Monkhouse earned Hartlepool United a 2-0 win over Dagenham and Redbridge, while York City and Cheltenham Town drew 0-0.
