The nominations for the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month award for February have been announced.

They are as follows:-

Scott Hogan (Rochdale)
An integral part of Dale's fast-flowing football, Hogan stood out by scoring four goals including a 16-minute hat-trick in the 3-0 win at AFC Wimbledon. The striker's other February goal arrived through a curling finish after a forceful run against Morecambe.

Keith Lowe (York City)
Lowe has been a defensive rock at centre-back since coming in on loan from Cheltenham Town. He displayed his strength in the air and shrewd reading of the game as York went unbeaten in February, conceding just a single goal in four matches.

Jim McNulty (Bury)
Switching between left-back and central defence, the January arrival brought a stability to the Bury back four which let in just two goals in five games. Strong in the tackle, pacey and an accurate crosser, he displayed his skill in both boxes.

Sam Winnall (Scunthorpe United)
Continued his stellar season by scoring in four straight games as Scunthorpe held onto their automatic promotion place. The variety of his goals - headers, tap-ins and fierce, angled drives from distance - made him difficult to mark.

The winners will be announced on Friday live on Sky Sports News.
