Dagenham and Redbridge have been dealt an injury blow with the news that winger Zavon Hines will miss the rest of the season.

Hines recently underwent anterior cruciate ligament surgery and he will be out for at least six months.

Daggers physiotherapist John Gowens told the club's official website: "He's been through this before at West Ham, so he does know the routine and procedure in regards to recovery.

"Psychologically he will be in a stronger position than someone who hasn't had this type injury and he's also ready for what's ahead.

"Zavon is a positive person and I'm sure he will make a full recovery and I am also sure that he will be back soon."
