Mansfield Town have extended the loan spell of Crystal Palace goalkeeper Lewis Price by a further seven days.

The Stags drafted in Lewis last week following injuries to both Alan Marriott and Ian Deakin and the 29-year-old kept a clean sheet on his debut on Saturday in a 3-0 home win over Rochdale.

Marriott (dislocated finger) and Deakin (thigh) continue to nurse their respective injuries ahead of Mansfield's Sky Bet League Two game against Accrington on Friday so Lewis will keep his place in the starting line-up at the Crown Ground.

The extension keeps the Wales international at Mansfield until April 25 when the loan may be extended again, if necessary.
