Paul Cox is preparing for next season at Mansfield despite being linked with the managerial vacancy at Blackpool.
Cox says he is flattered to be a reported contender to replace Barry Ferguson at Bloomfield Road, but for now he is concentrating on the Stags.
He told Mansfield's official website: "It's always nice to have speculation about you in a positive way, because I've been in football a long time. I know you're only two or three games away from getting the sack in this business.
"So it's nice to know that there seems to be people out there who think I'm doing a good job at Mansfield.
"I'm continuously trying to build the club, improve the infrastructure and make it a successful club for as long as I'm here."
