Luke Rooney has vowed to show Luton fans his best football after signing a six-month contract extension.

Rooney, 23, initially joined the Hatters on a short-term deal in March and made six appearances as the club comfortably secured the Skrill Premier title.

The former Gillingham and Swindon midfielder, who joined Luton from Maidstone, has been given another crack at the Football League and he is determined to take his opportunity.

"It's fair to say that Luton supporters haven't seen the best of me yet," Rooney told the club's official website. "I intend to take this chance and show them what I can really offer."
