Teams representing Chesterfield and Lincoln City will gracing the Wembley pitch ahead of the Coca-Cola League 2 Play-Off Final on Saturday in the national League 2 Final of The Football League's Community Cup on Monday. The match will take place on the pitch prior to the promotion decider between Gillingham and Shrewsbury Town.

The Community Cup is a national six-a-side competition for children under the age of 11, organised by The Football League Trust and club community departments. This year's competition attracted entries from more than 2,000 schools from across the country, with around 16,000 players taking part. Each club's community department hosts a local competition to produce a winning school to go forward to represent them their respective regional final.

Having progressed through the qualifying rounds, this year's Final sees Killamarsh Junior School, representing Chesterfield, taking on Thurlby Community Primary School, representing Lincoln City.  Chesterfield seccured their place in the National Final by beating Port Vale 3-2 in the Northern Regional Final, having already seen off teams representing Grimsby Town, Dagenham & Redbridge, Darling ton, Bradford City and Chester City. The Lincoln City team earned the right to play at Wembley by winning the Southern Regional Final where they beat Wycombe Wanderers on penalties.
