On Thursday 12th November Reading's Madejski Stadium will play host to 'The Heroes Cup' - a star studded international match between England and the Rest of the World dedicated to raising money for Help for Heroes - and tickets are still available.

This season, Help for Heroes is the official charity partner of The Football League and an English squad of football legends, music, sport and film stars take on a team bursting with top names in a game that will be broadcast across the globe.

Just some of the massive names playing for England include Andrew Cole, Paul Gascoigne, Mark Wright and Des Walker from the world of football whilst singer Simon Webbe, boxer Nigel Benn, Tim Lovejoy, Danny Dyer, Angus Deayton and rugby stars Kyran Bracken, Justin Marshall and Kenny Logan add to the formidable line-up.

"Help For Heroes is a great cause and I think it's very fitting that it has been selected as The Football League's official charity this year," said Reading Chairman, Sir John Madejski.

"We will be doing all we can to support Help For Heroes throughout the season, and I am very proud we have been chosen to host the Heroes Cup match.

"These events are always very exciting for the spectators, and I encourage people to come along and help this very good and important cause."

Joining the stars will be our serving heroes from the Army, Navy and RAF who have been selected to play for their country and as representatives of the armed forces.

The match kicks-off at 7:45pm this Thursday with tickets priced at just £10 for adults and £5 for children which will allow Help for Heroes to continue their vital work with injured members of the Armed Forces returning from the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq.

More big names are soon to be announced so to make you don't miss out, visit the Reading Box Office at www.readingfc.co.uk or call 0844 249 1871.
