Swindon Town played the Generation Game in September to encourage supporters of all ages to take their seat at the County Ground and show their support for The Football League's 'Fans of the Future' initiative.
The Football League is passionate about ensuring young fans can attend their local League clubs and the Fans of the Future campaign, along with the 'Enjoy the Match' project, is designed to create a family friendly environment for younger fans to enjoy football.
And at Swindon, the visit of Wycombe Wanderers last month was marked with the introduction of a Generation Game ticket that, for just £25, provided entry to one senior citizen, one adult and one junior to attend a game meaning that three generations could cheer on The Robins.
"It was a fun afternoon and the majority of the families we spoke to were bringing juniors along to the County Ground for the very first time," said STFC Marketing and Promotions Executive, Adam Wainwright.
"This is a very big focus area for the club, in line with The Football League's Fans of the Future initiative.
"At the same time we wanted to reach out to three generations of Town fans - enabling them to enjoy quality time together and hopefully to catch the bug of live football here at STFC.
"Before the game a junior from each of the three families took place in a 'dance-off' with club mascot Rockin' Robin to determine who went through to the Generation Game at half-time.
"The Cowling family went through to the final where they had the chance to win a range of prizes and they did extremely well. Thank you to all families who took part and hopefully everyone enjoyed the day."
