Lincoln City have become the latest Football League Club to launch their Enjoy the Match campaign.

Enjoy the Match is designed to eradicate foul language and abusive behaviour from family stands to encourage more children and their parents to attend matches.

And the Red Imps climbed on board on Saturday December 12 for their game against Rochdale by welcoming families to Sincil Bank with Manager Chris Sutton pledging his support prior to kick-off.

"Football is a family sport and we certainly do our bit here at Lincoln City with a number of popular initiatives in place," he said.

"The youngsters of today are the supporters of tomorrow so it's important that Sincil Bank is a family-friendly and enjoyable place to be."

Through the campaign there is a renewed focus on removing abusive language and aggressive behaviour from family areas through increased stewarding and special big screen announcements.

Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and more than 10,000 fans have pledged their support already this season.
