Established in 2006, The Football League Awards is an annual gala event which celebrates excellence both on and off the pitch. The event is a joint venture between The Football League and FourFourTwo magazine and attracts players, managers and staff from League clubs as well as sponsors, partners and those wishing to celebrate everything Football League.

Hosted at a hotel on London's Park Lane in March each year, the event is the first major football awards of the season and has a clear point of difference from other ceremonies, which focus exclusively on players and managers. Categories include Fan of the Year, Community Club of the Year and Goal of the Year and are judged by panels of experts from the industry and media.

The 2009 award winners included Jimmy Hill for his Contribution to League Football and Wolverhampton Wanderers' Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, the FourFourTwo Player of the Year for the Coca-Cola Championship.

The 2010 Football League Awards, in association with FourFourTwo, will take place from 6pm on Sunday 14th March at Grosvenor House, Park Lane.
