Lincoln City's Community Team are focussed on improving children's education this summer.
They have been supporting an art competition at St Hugh's RC Primary School, where kids were encouraged to design healthy-eating posters.
And in two weeks' time Community staff will link up with the National Children's Hospital to put on coaching sessions for youngsters with disabilities.
Regional Trust Manager Mike Evans said: "Lincoln have been putting in a lot of hard work recently. I know they are working towards gaining their charitable status.
"That will open up even more avenues for them and will allow them more scope in the areas they would like to work in. They are a very ambitious club."
The art contest involved pupils using their artistic talent to demonstrate the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle.
And Community coach Tracy Nixon handed signed footballs to winners from the infant and junior sections.
Lincoln Community Organiser Damian Froggatt said: "We help out at a number of schools in the area, particularly when there is an emphasis on healthy eating or extra-curricular activities.
"We were delighted to help out at St Hugh's School, and the kids had a great time."
Lincoln have been looking to donate old sports equipment to a local charity too, and were recently approached by the NCH.
But rather than simply hand over the sports gear, coaches are planning a two hour training slot with children.
Froggatt added: "We are delighted to help out and remain committed to improving education and sporting standards in the area."
