Fans of the Future aims to attract more young fans and families to watch live football and start a lifelong passion for the game.  The initiative is the League's first centrally driven ticketing initiative.  Participating clubs must be focussing on young fans and families and be offering cheap pricing at least on an occasional basis.  Many clubs are offering much more like free season tickets for all under 7's, "Kids for a Quid" for selected matches or "Family tickets".  They must also run family targeted match days such as Family Fundays which includes pre and post match entertainment for youngsters.

Launched during the 2005/6 season, more than 750,000 children have been admitted to League clubs to date under Fans of the Future and we hope many more will become a fan of the game in the future.
