Nottingham Forest are holding a repeat of their successful family mixed zone initiative which will see families of both Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town fans sit alongside each other when the two teams meet on April 10.
The initiative forms part of Forest's contribution to The Football League's 'Enjoy the Match' campaign which endeavours to create a safe and enjoyable environment where threatening behaviour, abusive language and discrimination will result in offenders being ejected from stadium.
The decision to repeat the mixed zone comes after Forest trialled the initiative against Doncaster Rover's earlier this season - a ground breaking step which won them 'The Perform Best Marketing Campaign' honour at the prestigious Football League Awards in March.
Special family tickets priced at £25 will seat a party of four consisting of two adults and two juveniles within T Block of the Brian Clough stand.
"We are confident that the initiative will be managed safely, however we hope the initiative will be successful as the Doncaster game," said Forest's Safety Officer Alan Bexon.
"We believe that the offer of a family ticket for £25 represents excellent value for money and we're confident supporters of both clubs will enter into the spirit of things on the day."
David Malkinson Marketing Manager of The Football league said "We are delighted to see Forest repeating this initiative, which won an our Best Marketing Campaign award for 2009; it is a great example of how a club promote better relations between fans ensuring everyone enjoys the match."
A range of fun activities have also been planned during the pre-match and half-time periods that will focus on this particular section of fans.
