The Football League and its member clubs are committed to attracting a new generation of fans to watch football. Supportered by E.ON, the Fans of the Future initiative is all about showcasing what clubs are doing to get more young fans and families to watch live football and start a lifelong passion for the game.
What each club does varies but can include free or heavily discounted season and match tickets for children and families, Family Fun Days or initiatives for schools and youth groups. Some of the best recent offers and initiatives being run by clubs are highlighted in our Fans of the Future Latest News section but a brief summary of what each club is offering this season is listed below so please contact your club for more details.
CHAMPIONSHIP
BARNSLEY:
Barnsley offer free junior season tickets to under 11s with a full paying adult with each additional under 11 season ticket costing just £25. Barnsley also have plans to hold some family funday matches this season.
BIRMINGHAM CITY:
Birmingham City offer a discounted season ticket for under 12's and a discounted family match ticket, as well as a 'Footy for a Fiver' offer to local schools and football teams.The club also occasionally run additional offers.
BRISTOL CITY:
Bristol City offer a free junior season ticket to children under 7 as well as discounted junior season tickets to under 16s for £75.00.Selected matches will be designated 'Kids for A Quid' enabling children under 16 to attend for £1.00.The club also offer a family season ticket.
BURNLEY:
Burnley have launched the brand new Junior Clarets club this season as part of their efforts to encourage young fans to attend matches, while they continue to offer free junior season tickets to under 8's and discounted junior season tickets to all children under 18.All junior season ticket holders get free membership of Junior Clarets.Discounted family tickets are available in the Family Stand and the club hold two Community Matchdays every season where an adult and child combination ticket costs just £5.

CARDIFF CITY:
Cardiff City provide free season tickets to children aged 9 years and under as well as discounted junior season tickets for those 16 and under for just £69.Cardiff City also offers children the chance to attend matches through its Community Department every week and will be running a Kids For A Quid match this season.
CRYSTAL PALACE:
Crystal Palace encourages young fans to attend football matches with a junior season ticket for under 16s costing just £65, a family discounted match ticket for £52 and several Kids For A Quid matches throughout the season.The Eagles' hold two of their ever-popular Family Day matches per season with tickets available through schools and clubs for only £5.
COVENTRY CITY:
Members of Coventry City's Junior Sky Blues Club aged under 7 get a free season ticket with season ticket discounts for members aged up to 16.The club hold at least six Family Fun Days at matches for schoolchildren throughout the season as part of their Community Involvement Scheme.

DERBY COUNTY:
Derby County offer discounted junior season tickets for under 11s (£55) and for under 16s (£110) as well as reduced price junior match tickets and a special family ticket.The Club also give local schools and groups the chance to purchase discounted match tickets.
DONCASTER ROVERS:
Doncaster Rovers offer season tickets for under 11s for just £30 and for under 16s for just £60.All under 16s are given free membership of the Junior Rovers scheme.The club distributes free tickets for every game through its community activity and also have plans in place to hold Family Fun Days with special family focused admission prices.

IPSWICH TOWN:
Junior season tickets at Portman Road are available from just £10 for under 11s.Ipswich Town are also planning a Family Fun Day this season as well as two games with family match ticket pricing starting from £20.00 for 1 adult and 1 child under 16.Ipswich also offer children free membership of their Junior Blues club.Schools pricing is available at 5 games per season with tickets from £3.00 per match.

NORWICH CITY:
Norwich City have a newly expanded family area, and offer great value discounted season tickets for under 12s (only £25) and under 16s (only £50) while for a matchday, under 7s have an opportunity to go free. In addition, Norwich are running two Family Fun Days this season. The club's Associated Group Scheme enables schools and youth football clubs to attend games for half price.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST:
At Nottingham Forest children under 12 are entitled to a discounted season ticket for £63 while the club runs up to four Kids For A Quid matches per season and has built these up to be very successful.In addition, discounted concessionary games are held up to twice per season. Group tickets are given to Junior Football Teams and tickets are given to all children who attend coaching courses with the Forest Community Department.

SWANSEA CITY:

CARLISLE UNITED:
Carlisle United offer season tickets and match tickets free of charge to all under 7s when purchased with an adult ticket. They also provide a family season ticket with up to 9 variations to ensure all families are catered for, with families made to feel welcome and safe in dedicated family areas. Additionally, for every game up to six schools and community groups are invited to attend free of charge with every child given a free 'goody bag'.
CHELTENHAM TOWN:
Cheltenham Town off free season tickets to under 10s members of their Junior Robins Club.Those aged 11-16 get free entry to five matches.For match days, the club has plans to run some Family Fun Days while Kids For A Quid promotions are offered to junior football teams attending as a group
HUDDERSFIELD TOWN:
Huddersfield Town offer a whole range of initiatives aimed at creating the next generation of Terriers fans.The club offer free junior season to children under 8 with season tickets for under 13s costing from just £23.Huddersfield also plan to offer free admission accompanied under 16s and Kid A Quid for selected games while discounted family tickets are available for every match for just £25.The club's successful 7's scheme sees children receive a free Huddersfield Town shirt and match tickets for their 7th birthday.

LEICESTER CITY:
Leicester City offer free season tickets and match tickets for Foxes fans under 8 years old with season tickets for those aged under 12 costing from just £28.The club offer a Family Season Ticket for groups of four or more and also run a successful Grass Roots Ticket scheme for local schools and junior football clubs.
LEYTON ORIENT:
Leyton Orient designate their North Stand as a Family Stand, and offer free matchday entry to under 11s, reduced price family season tickets (flexible to fit the demographic of individual family groups) and various other special offers. In addition, the club are running a number of special family themed days throughout the season. Orient also offer free tickets to schools on a regular basis and are launching an 'Adopt A Player' scheme for schools.
MILLWALL:
Millwall offer young fans discounted season tickets at just £23 for under 12s and £50 for under 16s.For matches, a family ticket is available while at several selected games Kids for a Quid and Kids Go Free promotions will be run.The club will also run a Family Funday with discounted pricing for young fans and community clubs/schools.
MILTON KEYNES DONS:
Milton Keynes Dons commitment to attracting the next generation of fans includes free match tickets and season tickets for under 7s when accompanied by an adult.For those under 16 discounted season tickets are available from just £50.The club have a Family Funday four times a season which including Kids for A Quid for under 16s.Finally, Junior Football Clubs can purchase discounted group tickets while earning their club a kick-back.
NORTHAMPTON TOWN:
Northampton Town offer free junior season tickets and match tickets for under 7's, discounted junior season tickets for under 16's and reduced prices for families.The club also have aselected school of the week and/or team of the week that receive free tickets for all pupils/players and their own match programme feature.

DARLINGTON:

LINCOLN CITY:
Juniors at Lincoln City can purchase an under 16's season ticket for £58.00. Every child in Year 6 leaving Primary School can receive a free season ticket at Morecambe through the Community Department while junior season tickets for under 16s cost just £50.A discounted family ticket has been introduced this year at £25 for a family of four and at least two Family Fun Days will be held during the season with extra entertainment provided.
PORT VALE:
Port Vale offer free season tickets to all children under 9 and discounted junior season tickets to children aged 9-18 years of age. The club also offers discounted and complimentary tickets to local schools as part of it's Community activity.
ROCHDALE:
Rochdale offer free season tickets to all under 7s and discounted season tickets to under 12s and under 16s. For every match the club distribute free tickets to under 16s through their community scheme, while they will also be holding a Fun Day match this season.

WYCOMBE WANDERERS:
Wycombe Wanderers offer free junior season tickets for under 10s in their Family Enclosure, as well as heavily discounted season tickets prices for under 12s and under 16s. For selected matches the club will run a Kids for a Quid offer and they will also have at least four designated Family Fun Days this season. Additionally all children that take part in community courses or in school coaching get the opportunity to attend a match for free.
