Real Football: In the Community focuses on The League's efforts to encourage social cohesion through football and features just a handful of the kinds of initiatives being delivered by League clubs, week-in week-out, for the benefit of people in their local area.

Through their Football League in the Community departments, clubs deliver a wide ranging portfolio of programmes designed to broaden the relationship between professional football clubs and their local communities. Each season 4,000 qualified coaches visit more than 7,000 schools and deliver football activities to over 1 million children. Additionally, clubs use their role in the community to promote positive messages such as healthy living, literacy and anti-racism.
