Two of Coca-Cola League 2's top strikers will go head to head when Gillingham face Shrewsbury in Saturday's Play-Off Final at Wembley.
Shrews hit man Grant Holt led the division's scoring chart with 20 League goals, while Gills hot shot Simeon Jackson bagged 19.
And as each player looks to fire his team into League 1, there's a mutual respect as well as the desire to come out on top in the scoring stakes.
League 2 Player of the Year Holt, whose total haul including Cup goals stands at 28, says: "Simeon's a very sharp player who defenders can't afford to take their eyes off.
"He's a hard worker who always puts opponents under pressure and he's a great finisher, which will obviously make him a big danger to us at Wembley."
Jackson, who has a total of 20 goals for the season including his FA Cup strike in the Gills' third round defeat by Aston Villa, says: "Grant is always a big threat.
"His record speaks for itself and we'll definitely be wary of him at Wembley after the problems he caused us in both of our League games against Shrewsbury this season."
Former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest striker Holt, 28, scored three of the nine goals that the Shrews put past the Gills in League 2.
He got just one in an astonishing 7-0 win at the Pro-Star Stadium but then hit both, including a last minute equaliser, in a 2-2 draw at Priestfield.
"That 7-0 game was freakish," says Holt. "We were battered for the first 25 minutes but then ran riot once we started scoring.
"The match at their place was tough and we had to come back from 2-0 down, but we showed our spirit and character - and we'll need that again on Saturday."
When Jackson and his colleagues step out at Wembley they will be intent on wiping out the memory of that 7-0 mauling in the best way possible.
A Play-Off Final victory would take the Gills back to League 1 at the first time of asking following their relegation last season.
And for 22 year-old Jackson, signed from non-league Rushden & Diamonds in January 2008, that would be sweet indeed.
He says: "It was obviously a great disappointment to get relegated only a few months after signing for the club, but we've turned things round this season.
"Having said that, losing 7-0 at Shrewsbury was a horrible experience - but we can more than make up for it on Saturday, even with a 1-0 win.
"It will be my first time at Wembley and I'll be out to enjoy it, but the most important thing will be getting the job done."
Whether it's Gillingham or Shrewsbury who will be celebrating 'job done' at the end of the Final, an exciting 2009/10 League 1 season awaits.
Holt says: "With Charlton, Southampton and Norwich dropping out of the Championship and Leeds not going up, League 1's going to be great.
"There'll be some tremendous stadiums to go to and some excellent games to play in, and we are desperate to be involved in all that.
"But we've got to come through a very tough test against Gillingham first, so we can't afford to be thinking any further ahead than this match.
"It think it will be an open game between two attacking teams and hopefully it will be a good spectacle - with us winning promotion!"
